New Youtube Feature? Swarms of Bubbles as Related Videos
Am I going crazy from studying too much or did Youtube add a new feature to its video player?
If you view a video in full screen, there should now be a small weird symbol (which reminds me the symbol from Sharethis) beside the play button.

Clicking on it brings you an interactive array of bubbles where each bubble represents a video. From the looks of it, the bubbles seem to be videos related to the current video.

Click here for a larger version
Hovering over them gives you the video’s title, length, screenshot, and rating.

Continuing hovering over it will create a new swarm of bubbles related to that specific video/bubble. And, “ooOh” - look. They are even color coded.

I’m not crazy right?

well spotted peter!
the “hidden” feature does exist and is kinda cool too.
i’mma digg it up and hope that you get credit for being fastest off the block in publishing this info.
here’s to hoping engadget/gizmodo etc. don’t steal your thunder (and your traffic)

Hi Lituus,
Thanks for your consideration
I really appreciate it.
But, I’m sure bigger sites will be able to spread the news faster than I can, and it’s expected of them to take what they can and make a profit, which is fine.
I just want to let people around me know about this cool feature!
