What I did in Taiwan during Christmas and New Years of 2008

As you may have noticed, I have been on hiatus since late December. To update all of you, here’s what I have been doing in a very short but pictured summary.

I went to Taiwan to spend Christmas and New Years with my dad

father eric at his best with his hawaiian shirt

and my mom

mom and the three white ghosts of past, present and future

and my dad/mom together

dad and mom together

and of course my grandma.

grandma

I went with my adorable girlfriend, Rebecca

surprise! rebecca!

who met with my parents.

...with the same expression as before

Rebecca and I went to lots of places including the world’s tallest building, Taipei 101

world's tallest building: Taipei 101

where we saw lots of expensive stuff like this:

Ferraris!

and this:

everything is handcrafted and made from real gold

We also saw cool things like:

perfectly-angled-with-proportionally-projected-letters cups

and…

royal tissue papers...a different color for your ass every week!

My brother…

...pretending to be crushed

took the entire family including Rebecca to a weird restaurant that served food in a bus.

too bad it couldn't take us on a scenic tour as we ate

During our time there, we saw a LOT of Chinese people…

look at the see of black heads

and the pollution was terrible…

see the rising

but we’re in love

we thought we could both fit easily but...no

so we didn’t really notice.

Rebecca even got to see her idol, 吴尊 (Wu Zun)

Wu Zun is some where in that massive crowd

All in all, Rebecca and I had a blast in Taiwan. Now we are living with this guy back in Waterloo.

...his name is Niles

Great.
