I was running a routine CHKDSK on my laptop last week and according to the Vista there were some files that required moving. So, Vista moved them around for me to “solve the problem” but instead of optimizing my laptop, it self-destructed by moving BOOT records to weird places which means that my computer can’t boot up anymore!
Just a random thought I had that I think I would share with you. It’s about philanthropy.
I don’t remember when or where I saw this, but it was a video of an experiment to determine what was the relationship between urgency and philanthropy. The conclusion was that people would stop and help out a stranger if he/she wasn’t in a rush. However, they wouldn’t do so if they were. This was true in my case today.
In order to better prepare in starting up my advergaming agency for UW’s “special” Enterprise co-op option, I am willing to work long hours and neglect the Open Bar that everyone seems to be attending…
